Android Spam Call Blocker.Hear the OnesThat Matter.

Free carrier and Android spam filters work off delayed, database-driven number reports — a call has to be reported as spam by other users before it gets flagged, which is why fresh spoofed numbers still get through. Callro reads the carrier's STIR/SHAKEN verification status (Passed, Failed, or Unverified) as reported by Android, so it doesn't need to wait for a number to build a bad reputation first. If your phone's built-in filter is already catching everything, you don't need Callro — it's built for people whose free filter is letting spoofed and rotating numbers through.

Download Callro, open it, and protection starts immediately. Your 7-day trial begins automatically — no credit card or payment information needed. After 7 days, subscribe for $9.99/month through Google Play, or the trial simply ends with no charge.

Numbers you've added to your allowlist skip the filters.

One primary role: Call Screening. On Android 13+, you will also see a prompt for Notifications so Callro can alert you to screened calls.

Google Play → Subscriptions → Callro → Cancel. Takes 30 seconds. No forms, no retention flows, no guilt trips. We want to earn your subscription every month.

Google Play's standard refund policy applies. You can cancel anytime from Google Play → Subscriptions → Callro → Cancel. If you have issues, email us at support@getcallro.com and we'll help.

Callro does not request access to your contacts, your phone's call log, or your microphone. Limited data flows, such as blocked-call screening records, are described in our Privacy Policy.

No. Callro screens CALLS, not texts. Text message spam requires a completely different technical architecture that we do not build.

Yes — Callro runs on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices on Android 10 and above.

That depends on your mobile carrier. When Callro blocks or silences a call, your phone does not ring, but whether the caller can reach your voicemail is determined by your carrier's network, not by the app.

No. Once set as your default Call Screening app, it runs in the background at the OS level. You can close the app and forget it's there.

No. Google Voice uses its own proprietary routing that bypasses Android's native Call Screening API. Callro only screens calls to your actual carrier SIM number.
